A little about me: I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and a Master’s degree in Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute. I completed two years of clinical training at Maple Counseling Center and continued my training for an additional two years at The Saturday Center for Psychotherapy.
Therapy can be a very gradual, slow process of questioning gently but firmly. It reminds me of opening a pomegranate—there is much to be discovered, many pieces tucked away, hidden in different crevices, and just when you think you have found all the seeds, you find more. Each piece is fragile and full of sweetness, but onlywhen ripe and ready.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in depth psychology, relational therapy, and intersubjectivity. What that means is we work together to uncover unconscious patterns and emotional experiences that may be shaping your relationships, self-esteem, anxiety, or day-to-day life. I also pay close attention to the therapeutic relationship itself, using the ways we relate to one another in session as meaningful information that can support deeper self-awareness, healing, and lasting change.
